No doubt it takes many, some say around seven to convert. In that case, marketers need a list of buyers to communicate to on a regular basis. O.K., who has tried this method and does it work better. Who is considering this method?

Well, it really depends on what is being advertised to someone. Some people only need a pitch once, to decide to buy things. The biggest issue, is funding. How many people have the funding to buy things, if offered on the first try? Not many.

True, that's why they need harsher convincing. Well, that's what it seems like. Anyway, only a small percentage actually buy "hard to convince" items anyway.

It's no secret that customers respond most to products that solve a current problem. A good sales pitch will acknowledge that problem (via research) and provide a solution. ... Your message should be honed on a specific product feature or features that the audience will benefit most from.

This is a good concept for newbie and old marketers. This marketing personnel should know that it's not just about selling selling and selling. They need to know who they are advertising their products to. With this alone it willbe easy for them to market their products and services to the right audience

In my retailing business we do the prospecting word after some checking on the list of prospects. Our product was computer supplies so any company with computer is our prospect. But we always settle on the "best prospects" so as not to waste time. Since our business is slightly bigger than small scale so we cannot just enter big companies that our usual target are the small and medium size companies. Sometimes our prospect for the week is 5 and sometimes even more depending on the review of the prospect list.

Marketing involves a lot of things and knowing the people you are marketing to is very crucial to your successful sale. This is what real marketing means, it involves knowing your customers and telling them what your product can do for them, what it can help them to solve, how your product is quite different and more effective than the other products already in the market.
