While taking a look on mining courses on udemy, one of them had "Mining ETH on VPS for free", the course costs only 9.99$ (cheap compared to the earnings that you will be making), did any of you experience something similar ? do you think that VPS's are capable of cloud mining ? and are they worth renting monthly for mining purpose?

I never heard anything like this before, I don't actually mine Cryptocurrency via my device. Mining with device destroys the battery and the phone strength. Making it to lag all the time, I don't think I will be interested about learning how to use a VPN to mine Ethereum. Unless it is not mining on my device.

pretty sure it's against their terms of use and stuff most of the time and they will stop you, or at least that's what i've heard.

Okay, I'm sorry I didn't look carefully, what you are saying now about this mining platform is that, when you create account via their platform they will banned you after some time using it to mine Cryptocurrency. What is really causing them to act this way??

vps is not meant to be used for mining for one thing, and if your host sees the high cpu usage at all times at best they might terminate the proccess at which point you could just start the miner again.

I don't know about that in the providers of VPS's, but i remember knowing some people that got their colab google accounts banned because they did this, i should investigate more about this

well it says "mine on vps for free" so you're gonna profit in whatever way you look at it except for the 9.99$ you'd have to pay for the course, but in general buying a vps to use for mining isn't profitable in fact you're gonna be losing money on it.

VPS actually stands for virtual private server, which means a pc that doesn't belong to you, you actually rent these for some purpose, to use them as your server or something like that (mining in this case)

I am not really seeing investors making money from mining, and I don't think the site will be a profitable one. Let's still keep our fingers crossed waiting for a time that we will all make money from mining , but for now keep on buying your cryptocurrencies, and keep on trading.

I have never heard about this site before. Mining is not easy to do as you keep generating small amounts of coins daily. Sometimes they will ask you to pay some amount of money to upgrade and get better mining capacity. I don't trust these.
