Is it still fine to start a pension at age 40?

It is absolutely okay for you to start saving for your pension even when you are 40 years old . the only difference is that you will have to double up and see if more than you were actually supposed to.

If I'm not mistaken, your query is akin to asking if it's acceptable to retire at 40. If that is your query, I can tell you that it is both conceivable and acceptable as long as you have the funds to begin your business.

There is nothing wrong in particularly starting a pension at 40 years of age. If you believe that you have the income to start it at that time then you can have to start almost immediately. You should dedicate more amount of money to this than you would ordinarily have.

Bro, it's better late than never. Even if in the end, you don't get up to what you're really aiming at, you have somewhere to start from at least and you can still establish a profitable business after retiring.
Go ahead and start now.

It is never too late to start a pension at the age of 40 years because the person still have about to defecate to serve the government before retirement. It is also good evening person can also start a part-time business alone as a retirement plan.

Provided that you are ready you can always start your own pension scheme at any particular time that you want. It is important that you should be intentional about this approach and you should know that you are running a race against time.

Your country will mostly be be considered, but in most cases here when you are into the government work then your pension starts automatically and you will be paid your pension immediately you retired at a
normal retired age .

If the circumstances in which you find yourself make that age the time when you can begin earning enough to save for a pension, then go ahead because it is more important to do it well than it is to do it for a long period

Just like the popular saying age is just a number, to f you are ok doing what you like I think that's a good idea, giving up on what you like doing might be a bigger problem.

40 years is actually a good age to start your pension program. But most people usually say the best time to start your pension planning is 5 years before the date you plan retire

In Nigeria before an individual start earning pension, that individual most have worked with the government for 35 and get retired. So talking about being on pension at the age of 40 is impossible

If the situation you have found yourself has made that age the time you can start earning enough to save for pension, then go right ahead because it is not necessarily about how long but how well. Again, there is still about 20 years which is still long to make up for it.
That is just the fact in the issue concerning pension, the only thing about how the pension will fare is that of consistency,if the money being commited is constant, then within a reasonable period you will be able to come out with something appriciable.
