Instagram Threads

Has anyone here started using Instagram Threads yet? It's pretty much Instagram's attempt at a twitter like service and is blowing up since it came out just a few days ago. I hear it surpassed 100 million users since starting up. Who here thinks this will kill twitter?

I have not started using Instagram Threads and I do not think I will start using it. IN order to benefit from any social media platform you will have to build followings, if you do not have followers, these platforms are useless for you. Some of my twitter accounts have over 10k followers, in order to reach this number I will have to spend years on a new platform. Therefore, it is quite impossible to get immediate benefits.

I have not used it yet but I have seen several of my friends on Instagram start using it, I really don't know what it is exactly and I really don't think I will start using it since I don't use Instagram much and I use it less and less since Instagram has become too artificial for me.

I'm already using Threads, although I'm not much on it like I do with Twitter. It's going to take a long time and effort from what Mark Zuckerberg will do with Threads before I will leave Twitter completely. I have 24 followers on Threads already.

I've registered on Threads but after navigating on it for a few days, I didn't see anything exciting about it and it doesn't look better than Twitter which I don't use much either. With this, it's going to one of those social media platforms I would login to once in a while.

I have an account on Threads and I have had once since the day it was released but I do need to get into the habit of using it more. I love how if you connected your Instagram account, those who you follow on there would also be followed on Threads as well so that was nice.

I see it having potential even if it may be slow at first.

Yes the Instagram thread is really good I think I prefer it to twitter. The most interesting part of it for me is that it is connected to your Instagram account so you don't need to start looking for followers

I haven't imported my Instagram followers on Threads yet. I'm still divided on if I'm going to use Threads for a longer term because if I won't use it, there's nothing meaningful for me to do with the followers I move into my Threads account. Twitter is a heavyweight that can't be removed from its stage.
