I don't see anyone being able to match what Facebook and some of the other social sites offer. THey just have too much of a head start and I don't think most new social media sites survive because of that.

it would not take so much time if you have the right team at your disposal, it would only take time when you do not have the right team and resources, as having the both of these, would fasten the process

I don't think it would be feasible to create a social media network again. I think it would not gain traction because the major players have already positioned themselves and taken the market share.. Unless you would build your social network on a particular niche.

I reckon that now in the present age, it would require a person to probably invest billions of dollars in order to start a social media network. In the past, it was quite easy to do so.

@Good-Person You would have to spend massively on advertising the platform than anything else. And you have to creatively fund one feature that would make it unique and distinguish it from all these social media platforms we have now. Without that, it would not work.
