How to become eligible to receive stimulus checks?

There were many people who received stimulus checks during the Covid-19 period. Many people might also have had received checks during the 2008 financial crisis. However, in order to receive stimulus checks, one must become eligible in the first place. So, how to become eligible to receive such checks?

The United States and many European countries gave their citizens stimulus checks in order to survive the financial crisis brought by Covid. However, this benefit was not available in developing countries. Our government did not launch a stimulus package as it cannot afford to give free money to the citizens.
