How often should you go on Vacation? (holiday abroad)

Everybody deals with unwanted stress at work, whether that’s a manager micro managing you or a overdue assignment, the pressure physically and mentally builds up overtime. This is when we need to take vacation leave.

Generally, Vacation leave is paid but can be unpaid if you’ve used your allowance up. Instead of just taking a week off, I’m asking how often should you ‘escape’ reality and go abroad to warm destination and put the feet up for a bit?

It’s usually a good way to de stress. Where, if you had the money and the time off work, would you like to go? And how often do you think ideally each employee should take a break abroad?

As often as you can afford and need. Some people need regular vacations to stay positive and consistent with their work while others feel they are going to fall behind. I don't need very many vacations. I don't need to go on one every year.

As much as your current job would permit and the amount of money you have to spare for a vacation. A vacation is a remedy for stress and you've been working so hard it wouldn't cause any harm to take days off to rejuvenate your lost energy.

I can't remember when last I went on a vacation at all, I wish I can have vacation most of a the time but work, stress, finances and many other facts restrict many people from having wonderful vacation most organisations or companies or institutions don't put it into consideration

This could also put a strain on your productivity, no matter how hard you work you should still try to take some time off to relax and regain some lost energy in order to remain productive.

I think once or twice should be fine unless your job is stressful then once every 3 months should be good.
If you are going on a vacation to release your stress and relax going to a country with a good country side would be an amazing option

Currently , I am in easter holiday with my parents right now , i normally travel on vacations whenever I am free to travel from work in other to enjoy myself and be with my love ones.

Traveling abroad especially in this part of the continent or this part of the world is very expensive. This is why I usually advocate that you should visit another country at least once every 2 years or depending on how much you are earning.

I think you should go on a vacation only if you have the money to afford it and if that's not the case you shouldn't take them often, since vacations are an expensive thing not anyone can afford it to himself and we should consider our incomes. If you have the money then you should take a monthly vacation is it refreshing and you don't lose too much at the work.
