There is no any specific amount that one need to save before he or she get retire because no one gets tired of getting money except you just need to rest which in my country it is hard for them to just retire like that.
I can't really say the exact amount so that I don't look so self centered,I will take any amount that can be sustainable for me and my immediate family as my pension money

For me I really need higher amount of money before I can think of getting retired from my job, I need to save much money before I can retired is good to save big money for now I am still young to think of that.
It is important you invest money in something that will give you passive income if you want to retire. Saving money is also very much important but I will not depend on my savings only. if you invest in real estate and other businesses that will fetch you money passively, you can retire and still be making money.
As a pensioner who has plan well before retirement will never regrade spending his money in peace and keep a good health so that he will look strong, retired but not tired.

If I could accumulate up to $100k, i think it will be enough for me to resign at that time and I will be able to invest such amount money wisely on a very profitable investment.

Personally I believe no one can predict any specific amount of money that can be quite enough for him because on daily basis we are faced with different and new uncertainties that needed our attention and to be solved.
Actually it will be very difficult for you to retire when you have gotten such amount of money because you may be faced with a new needs or demand for money and you will require another time to earned.
This is mainly for people that can't be satisfied with what they have, obviously what else will I need if I have to build a house in the city and also in a countryside. I will mostly retired to stay in the countryside as it is more suitable for me.
Retirement requires planning which 70% of us only talk about when we get closer to that age.As for me $2m will be fine

It is good to save a handsome money before you retire so that you will enjoy yourself after retirement, no stress but just peace of mind with your family because your savings is handsome.
Do you think savings can be sustainable on the long run?. It is better to set up a business that will be giving you something reasonable instead of depending on your savings. there are a lot of businesses you can set up as a retiree and be making cool money without much stress.
If I could lay my hands on $50000, it will be enough for me to establish a good business after retirement. It is not really easy to get such an amount of money most especially now that making money is so difficult.

That is very good, but for me I can retire when I have reach to do so because working in government section you need to reach in a age where you can retire, is not matter of giving you a huge of money before you can do so.
