To be very honest with you I don't understand how they are generating money. I don't see any viable business behind the model. this is the reason why it can be very hard to see someone who is making consistent income with piad to upload.

Google adsense is a major player .However, we have other alternatives such as propeller ads, buySellads and many more.Any website with good content can earn with their content. So either you upload yir content yourself or outsource(paid to upload) you earn so long as there is good traffic.Thats the main blood for earn on websites.

I think these paid to upload sites generate their interest via ads. They use google AdSense. That way google or some other websites get to pay to advertise on these sites .
