I think that a good worker should be kept and motivated with bonuses and incentives, it is difficult to find a good and honest worker nowadays, but the manager also has that big role, I work in such an environment that I can say that there are very few good managers who will make a good atmosphere and will not think only of himself..sad but

I have an opposing view. If you see one employee as the most skillful they'll surely use this against you by acting and trying to turn themsekrto demigod for you at work. Treat all employees equally and without any special treatment for anyone, then anyone who leaves is free, another will surely come.
 
Hardworking employees are the pillars of your company and you must to retain them if you don't want your company collapse because if they leave your company it may difficult to get a replacement. You made a very valid point, giving employees the freedom to be able to express themselves not just within their job description but also in other areas regarding the company or the organisation. It will make the employee feel valued and appreciated and not feel like he/she is under pressure or not happy with their job. Also giving them Awards at the end of the year will show appreciation for their hardwork.

I guess you're right on this article,but most companies were fund of doing something this days,once they know you are very good in what you are doing for them in their company,they will persuade you and compensate you by giving you a helping hand at work,but that's not what they intend to do for you,but want the new helping hand they assign for you to tap and learn everything you're doing in their company. After some years they may left you without a proper notice. So be smart while working in any industry.

I actually agree with you it is better to retain skilled and experienced staff of a company because of the cost of recruiting other staff and the danger of recruiting inexperienced staff but the question is how
