LinkedIn is not popular or famous like social media apps like Facebook or Instagram as LinkedIn was specially designed for professionals so mostly designed by professionals.

LinkedIn is a top online site for professionals , career networking , LinkedIn brings you to the business networks and communications tools that you need to find a perfect careers, and if you want to market through LinkedIn , you have to post high quality content and grow your email market.
 
You need to focus on three things. One, build a large connection, two, become active on the platform by endorsing your connection, engage in communication, comment on there posts, three, share your content that is useful, interesting, and also relevant to your connection. I doubt you can market as it is totally different website compare to other networks as this is mean for professional people and I don't see them as a valuble option for my website.
