As a website designer, I want to ensure that my sites are accessible to users with disabilities. What are some best practices for designing accessible websites, and how can I implement them in my work?

What kind of disabilities are you talking about? Someone who cannot see or who cannot use hands, or something else. There might be some tools that will read the content for people who cannot see. However, I am not sure about it.
