Domain flipping or website flipping is gradually becoming a goto when profitable dealings are to be done, and one can make the most of flipping too by following and keeping up to date with the right channels
It's actually not everybody that knows how to get into the business of domain flipping because I believe that it's a special Kind of business that requires people that have knowledge in it to take advantage of it.
I don't think a domain flipping is very easy because you have to wait patiently till when your domain can be sold, so making money with that is really not easy.

Well, the truth of the matter is that there is nothing that is very easy especially when it comes to something that has to do with making money, you are definitely going to need to learn how to do it and understand the risks involve before you can actually do it right.
One of my domains is valued at $1000 (via Godaddy domain valuation). I have spent just about $65 to renew domains for 5 years. So, if I manage to sell the domain I can make a lot of profits. But selling domain is not easy.
If you have a website that's been in use for a while and you make sure that you take care of it, it's definitely going to be worth something that will fetch you decent amount of money.

I agree with you, it is not easy selling your domain name. I want to know if you have listed the said domain on market places like Dan, epik, afternic, etc. I believe this would go a long way in helping end users get to know it's for sale.
Selling a domain is not something that a newbie can dive into. It requires knowledge of how successful domain flippers make it and which type of domain sell better.
