Good idea to use cameo to get cheap advertising from celebs?

For those who don't know, Cameo is a service that many celebrities and stars use to shoutout fans and others. For example, you can pay celebs on there to say certain things. So in a way, you could pay some of these celebs to give your site or business a shoutout and many have used this to advertise their businesses.

Have you ever attempted this yourself?

I have never done this myself because I cannot afford to pay celebrities to do such a thing. celebrities will be charging a lot of money just for a 5 seconds cameo. This can be good marketing for those who have money.

If I have the opportunity for a celeb to make a cameo for me, then I would definitely use it but I would not pay any celebrity to do it for me because I currently don't have such funds.
