Fronend or Backend Programmer which is better?

I'm thinking of acquiring some programming skills , though I've been learning it on solo before but I want to focus it more by registering for an extensive course. Which is better for me to study on, is it back end or frontend programming. I was disappointed when I attended a bootcamp on JavaScript and I got disqualified at a particular stage because I couldn't cope with the techniques required. I want to learn the skill proper and become an expert in the area. Please I need your sincere advice.

Frontend developers should also know the basics of web hosting, and buying a domain. Backend developers, on the other hand, need to have critical thinking skills. A backend dev is often debugging code, as well as designing systems for how the user will interact with the website.

I think backend pays somewhat more because it involves more technical work and it's the main Crux of programming - imagine you knowing the foundation of something, you'll definitely be more paid
