That is just the fact,because the advent of technology and some very good software have made things very much easier to do some of these basic and to a very large extent complex calculations on finances.

it is true that technology has made so many things easier but I having proper knowledge of maths is still very important and necessary and someone going into finances. they will not leave someone who have proper knowledge of maths and employ you that does not have.

That is not disputing the fact that the possession of a good maths skill is not good,because you will need to know the rudiment of what you are doing before you can effectively use any software.

Got me thinking not too long ago regards maths, in fact, I was calculating my total reference on my website and then financing was picked up. How good of your maths skills do you need to do financing with, I mean I'm shocking at maths any day at any time, always has been, point is that the fact that you do need to work out numbers and add it together. Bigger the numbers and bigger the bills more involved. Hell, at times if you have 5 or more loans that's a big workout.

Have anyone got stuck on financing and it's because of your maths skills?


I won't get a job at a bank at all, Get rejected for just not having a level of maths.

You know math is very important not only in finance but in whole life, if you learn math your analysis will grow so can have good decisions, if you learn how to solve math problems you will be able to solve life's problems too.

I don't see any higher math than basic algebra being involved with finance. I could be wrong. Anyway, many have a tough time with algebra. I couldn't concentrate in school due to the environment so didn't really grasp it till university.

Anyway, I have heard of a few Calculus things being involved with finance, but honestly, most banking jobs wouldn't require Calculus.

Maths skills are average for bussines but the finance or accounting can help you much more in dealing the business at highest cost. So maths work can we calculate through devices but not the finance work.

You sure need skills with maths in order to manage your finances, however, you do not need to be a math genius to manage money. You need knowledge and skills in money management, investment, taxation, and other similar topics in order to be good at finances. Finances surely need some mathematical calculations but if you are really interested, you can easily learn.
