There's many of fake pages on the net ... many people lost great deal of money because of those fraud thievs ... have you been scammed by this scammers ? If yes how mutch have you lost ?
 
true a lot of peoples get scammed by fake pages because it looks very similar to the original page i didn't get scammed by fake pages
 
Yeah, that's right, I got scammed in 2017, I wanted to buy some dollars here in my country from someone trusted that all people know him but unfortunately someone has created the same name and picture of him.

I lost 100 Euro :cry:
 
Unfortunately yes , it's a sad story,I just started investing in Cryptocurrencies, TRONS and someone introduce me to a page that can multiple the Trons in 2 weeks time, after investing the next week they disabled the website. It really hurt me.
 
I guess that is called phishing. A cloned site of the original site is used as a tool to steal information and to defraud others of their funds. I have not fallen victim of such before.
 
I've never been scammed by such pages and that's because i always do a lot of research before investing my money into something
 
A common scam is to present a new cryptocurrency as an alternative to Bitcoin. The idea is that it’s too late to cash in on Bitcoin and that you need to invest in one of these up-and-coming cryptocurrencies. My Big Coin was shut down for this reason. The fraudsters behind My Big Coin took $6 million from customers to invest in the fake cryptocurrency and then redirected the funds into their personal bank accounts
 
Fortunately, I've never been sscammed by such pages. Probably because I don't release my money that easily. I always check some reviews before I take actions that I might regret later. However, I've been scammed by a site that I was working from. It was frustrating because I spend so much time and I ended up wasting it.
 
People are steadily losing money to those scammers on daily basis, some of them even go to the extent of mirroring the the url of some popular sites to scam people. I have been fortunate so far as I have not been scammed by any of the unscrupulous fellows.
 
I have been scammed by some Write-ups I saw on whatsapp status. Initially, I didn't believe those promises and benefits attached to investing just 1500. But later I went online to source for more information about the scheme and discovered it was real. I went back to the guy and alerted him that I was interested in subscribing to do the stuff and made all necessary commitments.
After the payment, the guy disappeared into the thin air
 
That's very true but I have never been scammed from any page right since when I have been using social media. If you want to invest your money in any online business you see on any page on social media, first of all read a review on how the business works and know what other Investors are saying about them.
 
I haven't lost money to fake pages before but a friend of mine has experienced it. This friend of mine was to travel outside the country, so he wanted to buy the tickets online, thinking that he has opened the genuine website, not knowing that he has opened a fake website of the company. That was how he lost over $500 to these scammers. It was after payment that he realized that they are fake.

Not only have I lost money to fake pages I've lost money to fake instagram group as well. I remember vividly one Sunday afternoon that I fell victim of bitcoin scam on one instagram page with up to 9500 members. How did they still baffles me, but I've learnt my lesson, anyways.
 
the only people that managed to scam are actually websites and not pages, luckily i was and still aware of these type of scams and don't think i will fall for any of them in the upcoming future, that is a sure thing
 
Concerning if I am been scammed with a fake page by scammers. Well, I have been scammed through a link that led me to a fake Facebook page where I entered my login details and before I knew it, I had no access to login my Facebook page. The login details has been changed instantly
 
Yeah , there are tons of scamming sites in the internet ,and so far I have not been scammed by any of them because I do check online reviews ,and secondly , am not greedy to into their prey.
Is unfortunate that people due to greed.
 
It is true about fake pages and they have succeeded in scamming innocent people online using fake name and fake account.
In most cases they use fake address and fake pictures. Everything about them is impersonation.
I use to be careful about them.
 
Many people who are not were of such and are not careful enough to observe the sites they visits thoroughly can fall victim of such sites. There are times that the original page just redirects and if you are not vigilant enough, you may not realize on time.

IAM very vigilant when it comes to such kind of site promoting fake identify.
It is very possible to know such account if you are careful to observe their way of operations.
I have never entered their trap online.

You are quite lucky then. Many people fall into those traps sometimes because of ignorance and a portion of them also because of their innate greed. When you are aware that those sites exist, then, you would be more careful naturally.

You got it right- innate greed.
Most of the people that falls victim of fraud activities are the greedy fellow who wants it sharp sharp.
The greedy uses greediness to get the greedy type.
Anyway I will advice them to be very careful.
 
Fake pages, fake pages. Most people who browse, have at one time or the order fallen into the trap of scammers or hackers. This has made most people to loose their trust on pages. It's growing more and more and proving difficult to stop.

I used to be a regular customer of scammers that are working behind fake page. Even recently I was scammed by uwork.com l was ask to pay an upgrading Price of $15 dollars which I did. I have over $30 there now but to cased it out was impossible for me.

Fake pages is everywhere on the internet, one must be very vigilant else if you fall into the trap of the scammers just like other businesses internet, internet fraudsters are all great numbers, that did not look into it in the nearest future you're not believe anything online anymore
 
I haven't been scammed financially by a fake page but I have lost my Facebook account twice to a fake page, the page looks so real that I never had any single thought that it was fake. It really looks so real like the usual Facebook.
 
I nearly got scam by fake pages but luckily l checked earlier and l saw that it was a fake page. Mine was a punishing link and l knew if l had clicked on that link, it would have emptied my wallet totally but I as l said, l saw the link wasn't the original link and when I tried researching about the link, k saw people giving warnings about the link.

I lost over two hundred dollars to fake pages since this year. I have never had any online business before for a very long time, I decided to give it a try and boom! I lost over two hundred dollars at a go. I am more wiser than before and I learnt from that experience, although a very bitter one.
 
You are right though i come by them and ignore them, this happened after i lost about 200usd to an hyip/ponzi website, therefore, whenever i see such scam pages or a cloned page, i watch careful and stay off them, i won't love to lose any more money at all. Now that you have reminded me again, i have to be extra cautious.
 
Actually I have been scammed by fake page before, but in as much as I don't like paying online with my ATM card I decided that they should send their account number to me, and they refuse so I discovered they were scam.I was very lucky on that very day
 
No I've not been scammed by them and I don't play to be. This is why it is advised that you actually cool down to look at the domain of the site you are engaging in, many people has lost their account due to this very act and many will still do so.
 
scammers are everywhere, they are looking for people to scam. There are some offer online that are too good to be true, such pages you avoid them, i am not saying all offer online are scam but only 10 percent of such offer are authentic. A lot of people have lost their money and livelihood to scammer through online fake pages which are created for the sole purpose to scam victim

Yes i have been scammed by fake pages before and it wasn't a nice experience, because at the time I was going through some horrible situation, it was like adding salt to an injury.
 
I don't remember being scammed by fake pages on the net. If it has happened to me before, it will be one of those HYIP platforms where you register and don't see the platforms anymore.
 
There will always be fake and legit sites, how we go about involvement on this site is dependent on us, no site will appear as fake or scam, till the very point you are scammed, there and then the signs of a fake site will become clear.
 
I have been scammed multiple times by those fake platforms its adviceable for those who want to invest to make their proper resesrch before investing on any platform
 
Fake page I have been scammed several times I could not figure it out in time that the site I was operating was not the actual site for me to do my project so the resources I have wasted and go in vain.
 
This is one of the reasons it is very important to pay attention to the address of the site being visited. Many have had their accounts wiped out because of the tweak in the address and they were unaware of such before putting in their details.
 
So far I have not been scammed and I hope this does not happen to me, I am very cautious when entering my data on websites. I always read and listen to recommendations from people I know and family members.

Of course, there are many fake pages that scam victims that we're not careful. I have been scammed but not on a fake page. It was $10. It was when I attempted buying PayPal funds online.
 
I have lost money to fake pages ,but that dosent make me to stop earning online because there are legit platform to earn online , that I have given a try and have made more money from
 
The candid truth of the particular question is an absolute truth, I have been scammed sometimes working on paid pages that purported to be genuine and are working effectively only to later realise was fake. Like mymegamoney, is one of such.
 
I have been scammed many times, the first time was in 2015 when I was trying to create offshore banking in the US. A certain guy told me that he will provide necessary details in an ebook for $10. I bought the ebook but there are no information.
 
I could remember some in the past when I was just new into the online space , I didn't really lose my money because the investment platforms paid me to certain extent. By the time they stop paying I was able to recover the money I invested.
