Employee benefits. How important are they to staff?

Employee benefits are necessary to all staff as it would increase their motivation towards meeting and surpassing deadlines. It is an enticing way to uplift the morale of your staff. I would advise any business man to strive in giving the benefits when the need arises.
It is true that employees benefits are very essential to the working of an organisation as this will ensure that they have a high moral to to give him all their best to the organisation full stop and unsatisfied employee is a liability to the organisation so all organisations or businesses should ensure that they satisfy their employees by paying them their benefits.
 
A business owner that wants the growth of his company should try and be given employee benefit. When people gave a self of belonging to where they work, they perform absolutely well. Employee benefit will let them feel like servants and not slave.

What are the Pros and cons of these benefits on Employees and Employers and how important are they?
I don't see any cons in such unless there's a breach of contract by either parties about a part if the largeses that hasn't been full filled which can be taken up in court

When I got a job offer during the 2nd year of my employment in the bank I declined the offer. The salary was high but the benefits failed to match what I was getting from the bank.
