Thinking of investing in stocks and share but not really knowledge on this field so need to get my fact straight before getting myself in to this since an going to investing my hard earn money does social media have effect on shares stock market how does social media have effect on the stock market

I remember back then during the precious us election and there was this fake news that was spreading on Facebook that Hillary Clinton was well going to win the election even though some states still had not anounced results. This made Tesla stocks to reduce in value. Social media especially fake news or broadcasting of law suits of a brand can well affect how people buy and sell the stocks which might as well affect the pricing.

To be frank, social media has 90% trash and only 10% facts. The problem is how to sort it out - how would you know which is trash and which is fact. I would trust social media posts from people I know but still it is not 100% facts. If you need information regarding the stock market then you have to connect to stock brokers or if you know some speculators - they are private persons who are well-versed with stocks.

Social media has in no doubt be of greater effect on stock and shares. Social media helps disseminate useful informations regarding stocks and shares. Informations can be a very great asset when dealing with stocks

The influence of social network sentiment on stock market indices and companies has been proven in several studies. ... Additionally, the results showed that social network sentiment influences sustainable companies' returns but had no effect on unsustainable companies' returns.

The impact of social media can not be overemphasized in stock market, as we know that we have millions of people online daily and time to time any information that is circulating on the internet can ride or decrease people turnout to their trading and other things

There are loads of ways that the media impacts the business sectors.Individuals hear something and they respond. There is something many refer to as the Jim Craimer impact. At the point when he state purchase XYZ only because of the relative multitude of individuals getting it the cost goes up.

Purchase Gold: there are a ton of moderators who state "purchase gold, it is protected". At that point individuals call the 800 number since they are advised to blow a gasket in light of the fact that the markets will CRASH!!

By monitoring and analyzing data from social media sources—especially with regard to communication about stocks—it's now possible to connect the dots between sentiment and market movements. ... They also consume it, and in the process are influenced by the sentiments, feelings, and opinions expressed by others

Stuck market investors are serious guys not pretty talkers in the social media space who are at best incompetent to talk on subjects like stuck market investment. They lack the requisite qualifications to meddle. Social media has no effect on stock market.

Social media has impact on the price movement in the stock market. The reason is that new travels faster on social media platforms. This reminds of the case of Jeff Bezos sex scandal, it was on social media the news travels to other platform and this has great effect on the price of Amazon share, the it's price plummeted due to the news.

Social media influence can't be underlooked in stocks market. Although, there are series of trash info on social media. My belief is that, social media have its positive impact on the stock and there are places on the social media where the stock market are perfectly predicted.

Yes social media has a position or negative impact on the stock market, for example, before the lockdown, Facebook and whatsapp has it that the website that we were using ( purchasesharesonline) will crash, some of disregarded the information while some heeded the warning, at last it turned out to be through.

They also consume it, and in the process are influenced by the sentiments, feelings, and opinions expressed by others.Social media can be very influential on society in both positive and negative ways. It gives people a way to stay in touch with people who live far away. It lets people share fun, interesting and informative content. It gives businesses a way to engage with customers.

Once upon a time, if a company were to do an IPO ( Initial public offer), you get to hear about the company via newspapper, TV or your bank. Now, its will be all over social media and other platforms. Also, aside knowing about a stock coming out, you dont always have first hand information into the company to help decide to buy or not. Now, you have easy and quick access to know all you need to make such decision.

Social Media has been a popular platform for individuals to share their opinions of financial markets. Meanwhile, journalists and analysts contribute to news media to express their analysis on financial securities. This compares the effect of opinions expressed via social media and news media platforms on the subsequent market movement.

Honestly, online media has 90% garbage and just 10% realities. The issue is the way to figure it out - how might you realize which is waste and which is truth. I would confide in online media posts from individuals I know yet at the same time it isn't 100% realities. On the off chance that you need data with respect to the financial exchange, at that point you need to interface with stock dealers or on the off chance that you know a few examiners - they are private people who are knowledgeable with stocks.

Yes social media has an effect on stock market. There is a lot of information on social media and it influences the way people invest in stocks. Most people are moved by what they see online and any positive or negative report taken out of context on social media will have an effect on stock market.
