Does social media connect us together or disconnect us as a person.

On locales, for example, Facebook, it is basic for somebody to have many "companions." Yet, actually, the experience doesn't in every case satisfy everyone's expectations. Regardless of this always present guarantee of local area, numerous individuals feel secluded and alone. In spite of the fact that individuals may have hundreds or even huge number of online "companions," they may have not many real individuals, all things considered, that they can depend on. The entirety of this brings up the issue, is online media fortifying our networks, or is investing energy in our telephones and PCs really hurting our capacity to associate in person?
Truly, Social media connect us as they are platforms for we to reach out to ourselves. Many of us wouldn't have been able to know about one another if not for the presence of social media. Even before the advent of social media sites, we do not meet ourselves in person regularly, so one can not say that social media website are responsible for us not reaching out in person to ourselves. Evens happening in a far location can be attended by me in the comfort of my home.

Social media connect us as one, specially now where pandemic comes in.Many of us using social media to connect to each other wether how far you are. Many social media now using by some bussiness purposes for meetings and other gatherings to connect without seeing personally.

There is no doubt and every body know that social media has connected us with each other through its usage. Even an illiterate person can join the socail media account due to its effective GUI and make connection with his friends and family members.

Social media has always been and will continue to be a tool for us to connect to the world, engage in commerce be in the know, and generally be informed about various aspects of life.

Some people are out there making steady figures on social media while others just chat away. The picture I'm trying to create is that social media is what we want it to be. If you let it take all of you, it certainly will.

We must learn to create that balance in everything we do and not overuse the capacity.

Social media connect us as a human being together, Facebook has been the easy way to connect with friends all over the world,You just have to send your friends a request, after they accept then you can start talking, Facebook is simply the best in connecting people all over the world.

Social media and all its platforms have great positive advantages but so many of us have chosen to only use it otherwise. We now see different social media platforms that were created to connect and help us relate dividing us instead daily. We see hate speeches, threats, abuse, insults, and degrading all over and it is heartbreaking.

As far as social media is concerned, it actually connects us together but what disconnects us is phone. Imagine husband and wife in the room and both pressing phone, not minding the presence of each other and giving necessary attention deserved.

In every sense of it social media has actually connected us more than disconnecting us as a person, could you literally imagine how the world would be today without the Advent of social media platforms like; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, snap chats etc.

The social media disconnect us from people close to us physically but globally connect us to more persons. The media has is up and down. Is bad and good side. Nevertheless I'll still embrace social media all day

Social media has connected many people from different places but they can talk through their social media account but on the other hand due to social media alomost everyone become in their social media post checking uploading chatting with friends so can't too much talk with own family as earlier one can be

Social media seems to be more of a glue that strings us or connect us with our friends. Take for example the Facebook, this has succeeded in connecting and pulling together, friends of about 20 years once they are on Facebook. So, it has done more of bringing together than repelling.

The Web is one of several forms of knowledge sharing networks that have sprung up as a result of the Internet. Online social networks have recently grown in popularity, and they are now among the most popular websites on the Internet.

For people who have few real life friendships it must be a blessing because there's nothing worse than being lonely and it does connect people. However it also leaves them wide open to scammers because we can be anyone we want to be online. Does anyone really tell the truth about themselves? Even at our most honest I think we can only know 70% of a person online, the rest is just speculation. When I look at my facebook account I would say I have dozens of people there that I hardly know, I would probably pass them in the street and not recognise them.

However, I also have relatives in Australia that I would never be able to contact if I couldn't write to them through social media and I love that. We can private message and tell each other things. I like that we can stay connected through facebook.

It's like anything you could mention, it has good and bad points. Just because we have social media friendships it doesn't mean we can't go out and meet people in the real world. I think it has been a blessing during lockdown when we couldn't see our friends and relatives. It definitely kept us connected. Years ago it wouldn't have been possible.

The social media was meant to connect us to together and not disconnect us ,that is the benefit of it and why it was created on the first place

The importance of social media is very high ,it doesn't help to just connect us.it also helps to spread our business to a very large business outreach

Social networking is a way of connecting people, and make them associate with one another, so in this case it brings people together.

It surely does bring people together a lot of people have know themselves because of the important existence of social media

I use social media for connecting with others. I have relatives I've never even met so seeing them and their children on Facebook has been a rewarding experience that I can't have in real life. I try to stay away from any drama that happens on social media.

I would like to look at it from both sides, for social media it has brought a lot of benefits to us,because the gains ranges from connecting to how we can sell and offer services to clients online. It has afford us the privilege to get connected with others around the globe. But on the other hand an addicted social media person can have his real relationship with those around and who are close to him suffer. And these are your usually first point of contact when any real life issues comes up.

If anything, social media connects us with other people, that is what the term social means, a form of interaction between two or more people and I don't think that social media disocialise people except they themselves want to.
