Do you trust websites that are for sale, financially speaking?

If the websites have stand the test of time and are highly credible for what they say they do, then I have no reason not to trust the websites.

O personally don't trust websites even if not for sale because there are alot of scammers operating on the internet waiting for someone whom they can scammed to save my money I better not try.

Before I could put my trust on any website, I will read the reviews of past users of the websites to know if they are what they claimed they are. Any website that doesn't require that I pay for their services before I could actually use it, I wouldn't mind to give them a try.

I'd rather buy my own website and grow it from the beginning until it starts making me money. You just have to be careful with some people or some website that specialise in selling other websites because some of the reviews you see online are fake or were bought.

How much do you trust stuff from Flippa etc..? Myself, I really don't trust a lot cause everything is "too good to be true". I mean, come on, if a site makes $1,000 a month, then the rule of thumb is you'd be paying $10,000 at the least.

Anyway, things to look for are the sources of traffic, visitor numbers etc.. Also, don't trust reviews cause I'm guessing it could be a gang that knows each other - giving fake reviews.
Yes , there are some sites that are just focussed on selling another sites with non string attached because they are selling the site's for a financially reason but its also good to double check just to be sure,

well, that's a good point to take on consideration once thinking about buying a website, there are other things to take on consideration because scammers get smarter over the time

You made a very fair point in saying we should not trust reviews on such websites that is been given so good stars because they might have been given by one or more of their syndicate. Not all sites for sell that I trust though.

Concerning your question on if i can trust websites that are for sale to be honest and all, I would have to say that yes I can, as it all depends on me, on my instinct, if my instinct tell me to trust them I will and if not, i won't

I so much love the idea of buying already created sites because they save you the stress of building it . so they are not a bad idea if you have the money and do not way to build.

Flippa is a legitimate site though, and there are a lot of options for sites to purchase. Sure, you'll find some expensive ones, but some people will be happy picking up a cheap site/domain instead of a pricey one. I trust sites like Flippa, because they at least have security options in place. I can trust sites being for sale, as there is a potential for profit with said sites. Maybe not right away, but it could be profitable down the road.

I have seen a lot of people who sell websites before and let me tell you how. First they purchase the domain then use their skills to build the website and even go as far as adding some posts and articles to it and after sometime they sell it for a fee and make their money.
Correct I totally agreed with you

I really do not see the need for buying a website as I have not really seen the need for a website but website flipping as been around for a while and so would be a good to make extra cash

There must have been a reason in why the site is up for sale which might not always be positive. I would take my time to monitor the site that is up for sale before joining such sit because it might crash if the owner does not succeed in selling the site.

Financially speaking I don't really trust website that are for sales I prefer to create and design my own website and work with it sometimes what side that are for sales and normally scam.

Some people take it upon themselves to buy domains, design the site, make it get some views and then sell them to people who would normally not want to do that.

Well i haven't hard of flipper before but i know of people that do buy website and if that's the case it should be profitable at the long run as long its from the right source.

If someone is willing to sell his or her business, it means there is something most likely wrong with it. But on flippa most people actually spend their time building these things to sell it out to those with less time in their hands.

I do not think there's anything to be scared about websites that are on sale provided that you do your own research and ensure that the URL has not been blacklisted.

It depends but most sites out are scam for fishing peoples information, if you buy it you may realise that you're using half percentage of it and someone is slily using it on background .
