If a game is really popular and great, it does deserve to be remade or remastered. I'm not a gamer but I've seen games remake that has became more enticing.
Yes, I think it is good that famous games are being remake because this is a good opportunity for those who have not experienced these games in the previous generation. It is true that their number has increased, but I don't think it is a problem
