Do you set tasks or go right to work?

When it comes to doing your daily work routine, do you tend to set up tasks to do throughout the day? Or do you go right to work on whatever you have going on? I do a mix of both. Sometimes I have tasks I have to take care of, and othertimes I just do whatever work I have available to me. What about you though?
 
I make a to-do list and write down my tasks for the day. I plan my day ahead of time, this way, I'm able to keep myself abreast and focus toward achieving my set goal. I try to do the most demanding or most important task first before the less demanding ones.

Well, I have revised my targets and now I have new targets. I know that I would need to work incredibly hard in order to achieve my daily target. However, I have no other option. Life is too complex, as i also have to deal with personal issues. This may cause a lots of hindrances.
 
At the end of it all, it all comes down to proper time management and discipline. It is discipline that would make you to turn down an invitation to hang out at the time you are supposed to be working. You would achieve your targets and meet up personal needs if you adopt this strategy.

I always set up tasks that I will do everyday. It helps me to know the things that I want to do everyday and I will also set the time I want to work. It helpe me to plan my day well.
 
It is going to be impossible for me to be able to do all the things that I'm supposed to do without scheduling my task on daily basis, because that is the only way I will be able to work on each and every one of them without missing out on any one. This is so that I will not have challenges with my work.
 
I set tasks. I try to work on the projects that bring me more money first and focus on projects that bring less money later. I also try to work on the projects that will bring me money immediately instead of projects that will take time to bring money.
 
Everyday I plan what I have to work on the next day. I make a list of all the tasks that need to be accomplished and then arrange them in an order of priority. Along with that, I allot how much time I would spend on each one of them. This way it helps me in getting my work done more efficiently. Always set small goals in order to achieve the big ones. 😊

Planning out everything that you have to do in a day is always going to make things go in a very smooth way for you because you are not going to be mixing things up in an odd way where you are not supposed to mix them. It is going to make you to sound coordinated in whatever task that you need to see completed everyday.

There are many companies where bosses and managers actually arrive at the workplace way before the other employees. This is because have to schedule things and observe a proper overview each day. This is why they have a huge responsibilities and they set the tasks even before other employees arrive at work.

This is not something right as far as I'm concerned because the boss isn't supposed to be the first person that should arrive at the workplace. The workers are supposed to be on ground available doing their work before their bosses arrived. Who is even expected to clean the boss's office when he or she arrives unless the company have a dedicated cleaner doing the job?

This depends entirely on the nature of work. In many cases, managers have to manage different kinds of things before workers come and start working. In many places both the bosses and the workers arrive at the same time. So, it depends entirely on the nature of business.

As far as I'm concerned, I have this mentality that it is wrong for workers to be the last ones that come into work and be expecting their bosses to be at work first.

It doesn't show any kind of respect or punctuality on their side because they are not showing any kind of seriousness with being employed to work for that particular business.

There may be no hard and fast rules related to this. Some people may arrive at work early. There is a specific time when people are supposed to arrive and this is what we call "job timings" of employees. In many cases, bosses themselves might be higher-level employees and they may be required to come first by their senior bosses.
