Do you prefer to watch movies at home or in a theater? For me it's a mix of both. I don't need to see every movie in a theater, but big blockbusters and super hero movies should be watched in a theater I think. Especially if you can get to an IMAX theater. As those are known for immersion into movies.

I prefer watching movies in a theater because it offers a unique experience and atmosphere that cannot be replicated at home. The large screen, surround sound, and comfortable seats can create an immersive experience that enhances the movie's impact. In addition, watching a movie with a large audience can create a shared experience and sense of community, which can be enjoyable for some people.

As you mentioned, blockbuster movies and films with special effects can be particularly enjoyable in a theater, especially if you can watch it in an IMAX theater. However, smaller, independent films or dramas may be better suited for home viewing, as the experience may not be significantly different in a theater.
