Do you make sure you have the budget first before starting a new business?

Budgeting is important. I remember creating a budget before even trying to trade in the market and this is because I knew that trading in the market would not be possible at all if i never had a good budget.
Which is the right step to go, as budget would allow you to know what you are doing in the market, and when not to exceed your plan, as this is one sure way to succeed.

Yes. That is the first thing to have in order to make starting and running of the business easier for you. I always prepare my budget so that I can forecast the outcome of the business in one or two years to come. Infact I still have some businesses I am writing budget for.

It is always better to have a budget stipulated before you can think of venturing into a business because that is what will determine the size and the type of business to establish.
That is right. The budget determines a lot the size of your business. You will have to for the size that you can afford to run smoothly. Also, a budget will tell you the scope of your business.

Budgeting is very necessary and to some extent, it's mandatory for every startup including an existing business. Making a budget before starting a business, gives you a sense of direction and how to go on with the business.

Definitely it is better to have a budget on ground before either start business or even getting money because it is that budget that will make you to know how much money you will spend.

Well, there are certain times when you have to spend more than the amount you specified in a particular budget. This is one of the main reasons why people have a harder time making a budget.

If you started your own business, have you ever set aside a budget first before making the attempt? I know it's always best to have a plan in motion before starting anything, and that includes a good enough budget to make it happen. But do you ever make sure you have the budget first before you do anything?

Having a budget for your business is also part of planning for your business before you actually start the business because everything about budget comes into plan and before you start out the business.

Before launching a new firm, it is critical to develop a budget. A budget will assist you in ensuring that you're investing your resources appropriately and also help you uncover potential avenues where you can minimize costs.

A budget tells you what you are doing and what you are supposed to do, it also makes you more organized and accountable as you know the precise steps to take.

I think that budget should be created even before you start a business and there are many businesses that create a budget before hand. This helps them calculate all the expenses all the time.

I don't really understand this question because it doesn't seem like a question that should be asked and be answered. I think it's normal to have a budget of what you want to do before your business

Of course that is the most important thing, you should have a budget first before you even start your business. This will help you know how you will build the business to suit the budget.

I think it is important to have the business idea first even before trying to get the capital because we need to know what you want to engage in but some people like to get the capital first

Without an idea it is imposed to get the capital for that particular business as you would need to know what you are investing in before going ahead to invest on that business.

I think some people get motivated to invest in anything because they have the money to do anything they want and I think it is not supposed to be like that because you need to know what you're supposed to do

Starting a poultry farm may be a great business. I also plan to start one, but I do not have enough space. What do you suggest? Do you think that I could start this business if i have a really small space?
You can start with a little space that you have. Get a specialist to tell you the number of birds that you can rear on your space. Get in touch with a good vet. But like I said, you should try and have 80% of your budget before you start.

It is always best to have the budget for starting and running the business secured. That's to avoid you closing down as soon as you started. That's because the business might not make any profits for some time.

That is right. Having a budget ensures that you don't close the business when you are just getting started. It provides you with the proper planning required for any new business.

When I started my game shop, for 3 weeks, our total revenue was less than 10 dollars. But we kept running operational cost up to 5 dollars everyday for those three weeks. Just imagine we didn't have the funds to cover that period.

Of course it is always important unnecessary you make a budget before you start a new business. You shouldn't invest all your money in the business instant invest some certain amount and keep some in case of uncertainties.
