Do you ever get stressed out before you have to jump into an important meeting? I am not a fan of meetings for the most part, in fact I can't stand meetings because they can be anxiety inducing. How do you usually handle meetings?

That's why you would need to have full grasp of what the meeting is all about and get prepared for it. It is normal to get anxious before a meeting especially a meeting that you are doing for the first time. Giving you the information before hand about the meeting can help you overcome all those fears though.
 
I do not get stressed out before the important meeting. I work on the jobs and task that I have skills, which means I am very confident with my job, so I do not get stressed out.
 
Important meetings are usually brings anxiety to a lot of people in general.
I actually prefer to sort out everything that would bring stress to me prior to any important meetings.
I also ensure I am well prepared and informed before venturing to any meetings.
 
Actually it depends on the kind of work you do and how you plan your time for an important schedule.

It's normal; we are all humans, and it's absolutely normal to feel anxiety at big events like meetings, etc. I do, too, when there is an important meeting. I take a deep breath and drink some cold water. It helps a little to handle my anxiety. Also, sometimes I like to listen to some music or even dress extra nicely before the meeting to boost my confidence.
 
I don't like attending many meetings. I sometimes deliberately skip meetings, unless they are very important. But I don't stress myself before meeting. Talking in front of people is never an issue to me.

There is no way you will not be stressed out when you work for several hours. This is why I always try to put intervals whenever I am working so that I will not be stressed out.

What could be responsible for getting stressed out before a meeting is when you have engaged in rigorous activities before the meeting. However, getting prepared ahead would eliminate such occurrence.

The only point I might be a little scared is if I have to make a presentation in the meeting. I think I have grown used to meetings and that nervousness has waned off. I am now very confident when approaching meetings.

I sleep a lot and when I wake up, I tend to work a lot. The main problem is that I am a night owl and night owls get tired early. We may not be designed to stay up late. However, occasionally staying up late would not hurt your health.
