Do you ever connect with competing businesses to work together?

Competition is something we all have to deal with if you work anywhere, or in any type of business. But, there are times where it would be a good idea to work with some of the competing businesses in the area. Teaming up, or establishing a working relationship is better sometimes than actively competing with them.

The truth is that we can never run our business alone so we are still going to need to join hands with other businesses sometimes to achieve a particular thing even though we are competing with each other

Well, I have seen many businesses competing with each other when they are located in the same location. For example, some restaurants compete with each other a lot in my area.

This is actually very correct because in my locality, you will see about five restaurants that are in the same position that they have to struggle for customers that would patronize what they are selling in their different restaurants. It is why you will see them having similar dishes.

Connecting with a very competing businesses to be working together with them will really sharping your reasoning and understanding on how to deal with such businesses.

I haven't done that but I think that will be considered as merger of business to able both business to pull resources both financially and manually for the achievements of a specific goals.

It is really very difficult for two businesses that are rivals to each other to work hand in hand in any way. The business connections you make are for businesses that are related to your business and not the exact same type. Like a soft drink industry partnering with a bread baking industry.

This is very correct because when both those two companies are in a stiff competition for customers patronage, it is always going to be very difficult for them to combined together as they are striving to get more sales from the other.

In as much as this could be a good idea but it is not going to be all that easy and beside over here in my location I haven't seen any situation of this happening before. I wonder how such arrangement will be.

I've never connected with competing business as i don't own a business of my own but i feel it's nice if one connects or establish a good working relationship with competing business once in a while.
