Do it Yourself SEO Vs. Hiring a SEO Consultant

Do it yourself SEO will be good and very cost effective in that I won't have to pay anyone for such services. But if I can't do it myself, I have to get a specialist to do it for me

Running an SEO by yourself on your website is not an easy task for everybody. I believe it should be handled by professional who knows his job very well. That way, you get more value than if done on your own

When it comes to doing a good SEO job for my website I wouldn't attempt to do it myself but I will employ someone to do the job for me because a professional would be quite better than me doing the work myself.

I consider seo as the most difficult to manage inside a site. It has principles though that you can learn but if you don't want to then just hire an expert to do it for you.

Due to the complexity of how it would take for someone to get the required result while using SEO,you would need to use the services of an expert for this. But for a small business who is into content publishing you can invest in learning and use the knowledge to do your seo by yourself

I currently have two free websites. I usually do my SEO research myself because there is no point hiring an expert when I can do it well and it's a free site.

Hiring a seo consultant is not possible for a lot of people simply because it will cost you a lor of money. But if you are planning an ecommerce site, you should hire a consultant.

Perfectly said. If you have an e-commerce website or a very big website and you don't know how to do search engine optimisation then you should hire a professional who will do that for you but it requires money.

If it is your first website, I would advise that you make it compulsive to hire a professional because no matter how you learn you still lack experience.

If you have a simple blog or a website and you do not dream to generate tons of search traffic, you can try doing SEO yourself. However, if your website is an ecommerce site, it is better to hire a consultant.

Making use of 'do it yourself' SEO is good as it helps reduce expenses for a business but hiring a SEO consultant is not a bad idea. A consultant knows the pros and cons of SEO and will be able to help your website get a good ranking faster. But if you have idea about how SEO works, you can then do it yourself.

You read a couple of articles, watch a couple of videos, attend 4-5 weeks SEO course on Udemy or any other learning site, and you "SEO pro." For a lot of people SEO is as simple as this. They knowledge on SEO is basically from youtube videos, webmaster sites, or Udemy courses. It is true that you can learn about SEO by reading articles, watching videos or attending courses, however, when you start doing SEO on a website, it will be difficult to get the desired result. The ultimate aim of SEO is to make the site appear on the front page, possibly in the top 5 position. You cannot consider anyone SEO pro until this result is achieved.

When you launch your website or when you are ready to launch your website, it is very likely that you will try to learn SEO and also do SEO yourself. On the other hand, if you have invested some money on your site, you would also want to invest on SEO. What kind of website owner are you: do yoi do your own SEO or do you hire SE consultant for your webstie?
I think it depends on your financial position as a blogger or websites owner. If you can afford a consultant, then I think you should go for one.

Outsourcing such IT functions is the best way to go. SEO can be a whole department on its own, with pretty complicated objectives. I would go with hiring a competent SEO firm or consultant. Because that way, you get the benefit of working with the best expert in the field. Additionally, you will have the chance of utilizing the best technology or tools available. Because the firm will make sure they use the latest and the most advanced system in order to beat the search engine algorithms and make accurate predictions.

Sometimes not having an idea or prior experience makes one hire an SEO expert but how about considering when you've gotten so big and need time to focus on other things (which is what I'll definitely do) to ensure maximum productivity

You can do SEO your self, however, getting favorable results from your SEO effort is really difficult unless you are SEO expert. First of all you need to spend time and knowledge on learning.

Seriously, I'm more than willing to do my search engine optimization by myself if I know how to do it effectively but if not, I can always hire an expert to do it for me.

In as much as I am not a big fan of search engine optimisation because it takes a lot of time with minimal results I normally employ the services of an expert so as to be cost-efficient.

Well I know I can just do the basic blog seo. I can't do the advanced optimisation so I can hire an expert if I have the funds to do so. However, many so called experts aren't as proficient as they claim to be.
