I understand that I need at least a laptop or computer and Internet to install a forum. I have not heard of someone who started a forum with their smartphone.

I think investing in forums can make you money after a short time but I need to hear this from those who earn from operating forums.

My main question is, do I need capital to start a forum, especially if I want to start a forum that pays writers while at the same time hiring a moderator. How does a forum start making you money and how long does it take?

I think before you could start earning from you forum,you need some capital to buy some tools as well,just to moderate thee traffic in your forum and before you start getting much more members you need to pay some token to each members from there they start referring more members to your forum and you start earning as well.

Do you know how to program or create a website or a blog? If no, then you'll need a web designer. I believe you need capital. That aside, you'll still have to buy a domain for your blog or website. The good thing is, you can make a lot of your forum has selling content
