Different Types of Traffic and How You Can Get Them

I never thought I would write on the topic that has been talked millions of times on the internet. However, some of the members in this community don't even seem to have a proper knowledge on this topic, therefore, I decided to write a short note.
Traffic is basically divided into two categories: Web traffic and Mobile Traffic. Web traffic is the traffic coming from desktop computers or laptops. Mobile traffic is the traffic coming from hand held devices like mobile phone, tabs, etc. Whether it is mobile traffic or web traffic, the traffic comes from various sources and based on the sources they are categorized into different groups
Organic Traffic: When the visitors come to your blog, website, or app, via Google, Bing, Yahoo, or other search engines it is called organic traffic. You get organic traffic, when people find your blog/website/app while searching on Google, etc. and clicks on the search result to visit your website/bog.
Referral Traffic: When people clicks on the links you have shared on social media, bookmarking sites, or content discovery platforms, it is called referral traffic (just because the site, where you have shared your website, referred visitors to your site.
Direct traffic: All the traffic that is not organic or referral is direct traffic, for example traffic coming from forums, blogs, emails and other websites are direct traffic.

Well, it is true that you need traffic on your blog or website, you also need to be careful about the source of traffic. organic traffic has more value compared to direct and referral traffic because organic traffic tends to convert better. SEO becomes a must if you want organic traffic. Some traffic sources you need to completely avoid, for example, traffic from traffic exchange sites.

I think mobile traffic is the future and that is the reason why Google make mobile optimization to be among the ranking signal. This means Google will rank a websites that load faster on mobile lhone higher than the one which does not, provided you both websites have the same domain authority.

Good information for those who doesn't know the difference between web traffic, mobile traffic and direct traffic. However in my opinion, mob traffic is more useful than of others because according to present times, people use mobile more than of others.

All I know is the organic traffic which comes because of the website itself and not due to external factors like backlinks. Anyway, with the mention of traffic SEO it not far behind because one of the most popular source of traffic now are the search engines. There is a job called SEO specialist who will make your website SEO friendly. I wonder how.

You can make use of Facebook ads and also you can make use of Facebook groups or pages which I believe is the best form to look for traffic . if you have extra cash you can purchase traffic from solo ads

Yes, I agree with you... Getting traffic expecially the organic traffic has to always do with having or writing original content.. Some person do not traffic to there site or YouTube channel...

It may show up on your traffic algorithm but it will not help you in terms of monitizing.

Organic traffic is best but getting trafic ia really difficult as you can get organic traffic only when you rank on top 3 pages on the search engines, which will be possible only through the implementation of seo strategies.
