Gas fee is one aspect of cryptocurrency most investors are scared of especially when it has to do with the ethereum blockchain. The fees are most times huge that people may be discouraged from carrying out the transaction.

In this tutorial I will be showing you how to either I crease the gas fee for faster transaction or reduce it to save money.

On your trust wallet and within the coin you want to send out , click on send and enter the recipient address and amount . Click Continue . A page similar to the one below will pop up for confirmation .

Here you will see the gas fee you will be charged . If you are not ok with it , you can reduce it by clicking the settings icon circled above .
A page similar to the one below will pop up

From here change the gas price to the suitable one for you and click save. The gas fee will either reduce it increase depending on your action. Increasing the number of gas price increases the fee and vice versa.

NB. REDUCING GAS PRICE CAN CAUSE THE TRANSACTION TO BE DELAYED FOR LONG OR EVEN CANCELLED. Don't be greedy , reduce the gas fee to a reasonable amount for example from 50 to 45 . Alternatively , you can use etherscan to see the recent gas price and set the minimum .

Have any question ? , Drop it in the comment box .

I have tried that many time but it is not working. If you change the gas fees below what they set themselves. The transaction will not go. It will return not appropriate transaction. They just out option to change gas fee but only to increase but not to decrease the gas fee

This is a very great and advanced tutorial that you have created here. I think that one of the most important things when it comes to actually changing the transaction fee within the wallet that you are making you so is that you have to understand the risks that are involved with this as well. For example if you change the transaction fee to be way too low then it is unlikely that your transaction will actually be confirmed and then it will just be staying on the blockchain for a long period of time and will not go through.

This is actually a good tutorial from you. For me I think it's not even good for someone to send Ethereum directly as a crypto. You can convert your coin to xrp to avoid low charges

Thanks for this tutorial though. I think the only downside to it is that the transaction will be delayed. Meaning it will be only advised for transactions with people who trust you and can be patient with you. Otherwise, doing this on a p2p platform, where transactions are expected to be swift might cause issues

gas fee in trustwalllet is not trust wallet doing. What kind of investment are you talking about because I don't think that trustwalllet has any investment apart form the staking. And moreover they gas fee of bianace coin is not much. I do make some transactions that the fee is not up to 10 cents

Excellent steps, I have heard about these before but have never seen anyone do it. Does these work for other wallets as well or just the trust wallet.

Excellent tutorial. I didn't know that one could actually reduce the gas fees and the transactions will still go through though a bit delayed. I am glad to have seen this.

Good lecture you put out there... I never knew you cam change fas fee...the high gas fee for ethereum as made me run from any ether transaction. That's the reason why i mainly use bnb for most transaction....

fueloline rate in trustwalllet isn't consider pockets doing. What type of funding are you speakme approximately due to the fact I do not suppose that trustwalllet has any funding aside shape the staking. And furthermore they fueloline rate of bianace coin isn't much. I do make a few transactions that the rate isn't up to ten cents

Yeah lesser the gas fees , higher the time it takes for the transaction to get confirmed. If you can't afford more fees , you can go for low fees but it may even take more than a day to get confirmed.

I think trust wallet is also one of the best wallet to use. I don't like the user interface that's why I don't use it. It is familiar with atomic wallet but I love using atomic wallet more than trust wallet. I think it is a good idea if you give it a try but I don't personally like it
