.com or .co Domains?

I have noticed a lot of people are starting to use the .co domains lately. And that has improved their search ranking considering they are buying their company brand on all the domains. This way they can make sure to get clients from all domains. Sometimes it is not about either or and more of both. But that is just my perspective in real life you could pick only one based on the expenses.

Which domain you would pick for your online business?

Well, I started to like the .co but when i started a company with the .co a lot of people were trying to go to the .com even trying to email me with the .com domain. Unfortunately I keep going back to the .com... Though I really like the look and feel of the .co domain as the brand.

You can have anything you want nowadays, Gaming websites can have .game or .gaming. It comes down to what niche you have. Me personally I stick with .com since most people now the major ones and don't want to use something that they will not remember and never get to visit your site.

.co does sound cool though :)

I prefer to use .com domain. Years of people using the internet has banked the balance in favour of .com domains. Infact, the other high level domains like .net, .in, .info, .org all are 'high level' but not as popular as .com. since traffic is all what webmasters are bothered about, I think the balance will always tip in favour of.com domain.

.co domains are good, but not better than .com.

Might take years to change.

I prefer .com domains to give the domain a better name and easy to remember domain extension. But finding good .com domains are little tough nowadays.

Whilst .co is cool, .com is the more powerful (in terms of SEO-friendliness) and professional domain name extension. Most businesses and brands will use .com over any other domain name extension. If .com is not available, you should opt for .net or .org, in my opinion. They are the closest domain name extensions to .com.

I think .co can be fun. Nonetheless, in many countries, it's simply not the top domain. In that case, it's tough for customers to remember it. That's why .co, like many other extensions are simply not worth as much.

I am sure many websites use .co domain extension these days. Most of the niche keywords for this extension are too expensive. I always stick to either .com or .net domain extension most of the time.

It's just my personal preference and I usually don't opt for my country extension either. It all depends on your target audience. Even now based on the global TLD statistics, .com registration is more than 50% of all the domain extensions, registered.

The best point is that you can change any time, though I used .co as well now I have moved with my new website to .com since it has a more appeal.

Search ranking is not depended on the extension, therefore, it does not matter whether you use co or com. Ranking is rather depended on domain name and website content. If a domain uses keto diet on its name and has content built around keto it will bw ranked for keto diet keywords irrespective of extension

I prefer dot com extension in all day to dot co. I can only make use of dot co when the dot com extension of the domain name I want to register is no longer available. People are moving gradually towards dot co because it's looks similar to dot com extension. In fact, dot co domain names are fetching decent profits for investors in the market place.

I would prefer .com as my domain if I have to choose. I think .co seems great and a lot of websites are using this as well but .com is more popular. In fact, on my personal experience, even though the site doesn't end with .com, I still search the site with it because I got used to it for a long time of using it.

.com domains are the best anytime. They are the most used in the world and easy to sell. Selling them is easier compared to the .co or the orders and I believe there are also so other features relating to it

Exactly the .com is more appealing and also most used. Anytime I type a website, the first thing I use is a .com which I think anybody would also type . so its the best if you ask me

What is the difference between the .com and .co domains if I may ask? I am sorry for this question, but I am genuinely interested in this. At first, I thought that the domain at the end was more of an indication as to where the website is based in terms of the use of the country it was founded in, however based on your analysis here where it comes to getting more clients are certain domains only visible to certain regions?

Are you sure that there are many website owners with more than one domain for their website? It's like having Alexandoy.com and Alexandoy.co and Alexandoy.org. I cannot come to terms with that scheme because having an extra domain involves a cost and, in fact, the extra domain is just like a redirecting link which is not that important. Anyway, with the use of dot co and dot com whichever is cheaper then I would go for that.

When I am registering a domain, I try not to compromise with the name I have chosen, I don't actually go with the extension. Let say I want to register the domain "word." I will search the domain on the domain registrar. Dotcom being the oldest domain appears on the top. If the domain for com is taken I will check the list and choose an extension that is cheap and goes well with the name.

Maybe this is just a bias from being old and having been on the Internet in its infancy, but I still feel some sense of skepticism when I see a ".co" domain. When I see a ".com" domain, I generally feel like the site is trustworthy; I do not have the same feeling when I see a ".co" domain. Again, this is probably just because I am much more used to seeing domains like ".com," ".net," and ".org."

The two domain are okay based on the purpose of the website. While. com is mainly used for commercial purposes.co is mainly used for corporation. Though .com is popular and drives more traffic than. co
