With the lawsuit that is going on between Ripple and the SEC, there are an increasing number of exchanges that are unsure about what to do with the coin in the interim, because the future of the currency and the company as a whole has become very uncertain. As such, coinbase is now in a very difficult position in not knowing whether they should halt the trades of ripple on their forum o continue with it.

On the one hand, halting the trades of ripple could have negative repercussions if the company wins this lawsuit and if the users want to continue to trade in it. However if the trades continue, it is very unsecure as the value could change at any time and the coin might become a dead coin if the company faces a loss here?

What do you think coinbase should do? I believe that they should continue to list ripple, as there is, and always has been, a risk in the crypto world with regards to volatility of a coin, and therefore i believe that it is up to the user to do sufficient research to make these decisions on whether to buy or sell a coin.

Coinbase has suspended trading Ripple / XRP, I also recently received an email from Eobot (cloud mining) delisting and removing Ripple / XRP due to the SEC lawsuit, so Eobot told me to withdraw or swap to other coins until December 30,2020. also there will be many exchanges that will stop trading Ripple / XRP such as B2C2, Bitstamp, Crypto.com etc, this reflects a negative sentiment, so that the XRP value will fall drastically maybe close to zero.

Yes the number of exchanges that are stopping with ripple is very high and this is concern for all of those that have invested into ripple. In my opinion, with the risk that it incurs, not with regards to ripple winning or losing the lawsuit, but rather with the stance that exchanges are taking against the coin, it may be best for them to rather cut their losses and sell their ripple investment. What do you think?

Oh my God, this is bad news for the cryptocurrency world, but I still firmly believe that Ripple will come out of this challenge unscathed. Coinbase should take the decision of not delisting ripples because of this challenges they are going through as they are surely going to come out of it victorious.

Coinbase are no more considering it anymore, they have suspended Ripple on their platform, which is going to affect a lots of transactions from US. Then, it will lead to considering other measures in making things happen.

This is just so worrying because everywhere is agog with the news of either trade suspension or delisting of Ripple. I can only wonder how ripple is going to come out of this even if they are cleared of all the charges levelled against them.

I think the current issue between SEC and Ripple has arouse some tension between the XRP investors and many cryptocurrency exchange sites . The exchange sites are only trying to run away from being associated with the crime .

This is one of the challenges you find in the cryptocurrency world. I don't think coinbase delisting ripple is a good idea because it will come with heavy consequences in the long run. But then exchange sites have the liberty to take decisions they believe is best for themselves.

This is a very sad news for ripple owners. I checked just now and saw that the price of XRP has crashed down further to about 0.19 USD. Most people are already selling off their XRP coin and this trend is set to continue for the now until they sort out the issue with the U S SEC.

I just pray xrp gets out of this quick, the coin price is really going down.

I think this is a good idea from Coinbase and I hope other crypto currency exchange Business will follow suit. With the current sanction slammed on ripple coin I don't think they will be able to move over from the loss in the next three years and this can put Investors capital at risk if the coin is further degraded more

Ripple had this coming, their currency was popular but it was weak from the onset and this positioned the for destruction, I honestly hope they make it through this stormy period.

Nothing can make a Cryptocurrency trader sadder than seeing that their best and choicest trading platform is delisting the coin they have and are holding currently. If this news were true, it will surely reduce coinbase's customers base.

I definitely agree with you as well because there are many that make use of the ripple coin as their primary coin especially when it comes to transacting because they have very cheap transaction rates and very fast conformation times as well.

Looking at the date this post was made, I would say that they might have been considering this position because of the lingering court case the coin is having or facing in the USA

I think the lawsuit case was making many exchange platform considering the move of suspending ripple trading , but it seems they did not later suspend it again then

Ripple was able to gain back the confidence of exchanges and investors with their progress in the lawsuit. Exchanges that delisted them before have listed them back

This whole thing that ripple is passing through has affected it negatively. I was just believing that the court cases is something that can be settled within a short period of time , I don't really understand why this has to take so long.
