I believe the legal term is "Social Media Defamation".

I am not sure how this functions or whether or not you can actually sue as well as on what grounds. I have heard of people sharing lies about companies and getting away with it. So I am curious as to the process of doing this and how you know if you can actually sue or not.

Actually sometimes it depends on the circumstances at hand but to some instances I can not use him because of what he broadcaste about myself or my business so far I know what I am doing either good or bad.

Who? I am confused as to who "him" is. My question wasn't directed at any individual but people as a whole who can slander a business.

I think your actions may depend on the kind of damages that such propaganda have made to your name. I will sue the person if such as caus4d so much damages to my success.

I think if a person said things that are unreasonable or damaging or basically senseless.
It depends on the situation though. If it's barely affecting your operation, maybe you can shrug it off.

Of I can sue someone for damaging or insult or defamation of my name on any social media but it's depends on the situation, instances and how it's been related or message is been passed

I think your actions may depend on the type of damage this promotion has done to your name. If they do a great deal of damage to my success, I will sue the person.

It really depends on what exactly was written online. Slander is actually spoken words and Libel is the written word, so you would be suing for libel which is written defamation.

There are a few things that need to be met in order for the courts (in the US) to even consider the case such as were you identified, is the information false and did it cause injury to you or your business?

If it's merely a bad review about your or your business, you cannot sue unless there are false claims. If someone brings truthful information in the review you cannot sue.

Definitely you can Sue anyone that slanders your business online. It depends on what the person writes or the review a person write about your business either it is legit or it is not. When you saw anyone whose land is a business and you report them to the government official you also should be sure that what the person is saying it is not outright in a wrong else you have to be punished.

Yes you have the right to Sue anyone that tries to bring down your business on social media. If what the person is saying is true you may not likely be able to win the case. Accept what he or she is saying is not true .

Yes definitely in a standard country where law and orders are kept and followed right, one can sue another for misusing his business or the his or her image, but not in all countries because of corruption.

If there is damage caused by such slanderous action from the person against you, then I think you can take the matter up before a court of competent jurisdiction for a redress. Everything leading to the slander will have to be closely looked into though to make a good case.

Of course yes, in an organized or standard country, you can sue anyone for tanishing your image or properties to a court and they will take action immediately, that is how settle things in a cool way self.

Of course you can. That's why you have lawyers and even the other entity would have as well. Slander or defamation is a very serious offence and action should be seriously taken against offenders

There is a certain extent to which you can be able to do this like if the person is defending you or bringing information that can be able to endanger you or your business.

Sueing someone for profaning you on social media is very common on civilize country and justice is do not like other countries that one can not do anything once he is insulted on social media or somewhere else.

What would this process look like? Like if someone slandered you on say, Twitter. What would be the first step to protecting your business from false allegations and lies?

It doesn't matter how big or how small the slander is as long as it is false or not true it will be best to sue the person to show a warning flag to others who are trying to bring your business down through falsehood.

Well, if the needs arise then I will definitely use the person but firstly I most have to seek the advice of legal practitioners so as not to go astray to the law and depending on the situation.

Yes, you can sue someone for slander on social media. To prove slander, you would need to show that the person made false and damaging statements about you on social media with the intent to harm your reputation.
