Can you rank on Facebook Search?

I don't think ranking on facebook search has anything to do with SEO. Facebook search is a way to find people, communities and pages inside facebook. facebook search does show results outside facebook

So this may be an odd question, but is it possible to rank in Facebook's search? I know Facebook now lets you search for many things, mostly all housed on Facebook of course, but it seems to heave a wealth of information at ones fingertips. With that being said, is it possible to rank on Facebook Search? Or does facebook only search for content on facebook?

Facebook don't allow that to happen I guess, everything you are searching for in Facebook is inside it, because it will never take you out of is platform I guess.

I don't think I've ever come across any techniques or information relating to ranking in Facebook searches. That being said, it may be something that you could manage somewhat, but Google and Facebook are very different websites. With Google, you're searching the whole web which Google doesn't control. Facebook controls what posts and data a page can share and also what is relevant to which profiles, so you can really compete on Facebook because that will ultimate decide what the specific user is looking for.

There's nothing like Facebook search engine rank because most people just search randomly on Facebook search and so there are no premium placed on any search as it all just bore down to randomly selected items for search results.
