Can pension salary be enough to build a house for a retiree??

It is believed that, the pensioner have already made plans before bowing out of retirement. The pension stipend isn't paid for building purposes but for the retiree yo take care of his or her basic needs.

Their are countries that pays their retirees considerable amount of salary as a reward for the years dedicated during their active service career. While some countries pay their retirees less salary after bowing out of service.

Do you think that the salaries they pay this pensioners will be enough for them to build a 3 bed room flat apartment well furnished??
Even if it's not just enough which majority of them are,it's is also good to know that some might just be enough depending on your years of service and the type of house you want to build as all house are not the same.

If you take pension at once because there is 2 formats take the hole money at once or take a salary if it is a salary then it is unrealistic but you take hole pension at once then you can buy a house because people choices varies.

That's a nice input you outlined. It depends on the kind of building, based on the amount of money the retired civil servant received. At least self contain can be achieved with the pension stipend.

For a pension salary to be enough to build a house for a retiree will depend on the amount the retiree is collecting as his pension monthly. A bigger amount of money means the pensioner can build a house with it

Since all pensions salaries are not the same across board, it therefore means that the actualization of that action will largely depend on one's pension salary amount paid to him monthly

An elderly one who is expected to enjoy his or her retirement benefits on food and maintenance cost shouldn't go into savings building a house at that time. He or she meant to have built earlier, then use the pension to take care of himself.

A retiree that is having a fat pension take home pay at the end of every month can confidently use his pension to build him a house of his dreams unlike one with a very slim pension each month

To build a House after retirement is dependent on how big of stylish house you want to build.because if you are building small house or not spending high amount of money so this pension money would be more enough.but if your pension money is in less amount or you also want to build big house so then you must need extra amount to build.
Depending on the type of work the pensioneer is doing before he or she retires , imagine a clerk receding just #45,000 as a main salary and now getting just #15,000 monthly as a retired person, the money can only feed him/her

It is your take.home pay that will inevitably determine wether you can use your pensions to build yourself a house or not

It is like this @Sincerem , retirees should think about a house and make their acquisition concrete, before reaching the date of retirement. Since the pension benefits do not cover the expenses for the construction or purchase of a house, this is only enough for food and medicine, maybe also to cover some household expenses.

Hmm, only in the top countries where you'll see a retiree who commands hefty monthly stipend. Lower tier countries are simply giving peanuts as salary to pensioners, which is not enough to build them a house.

The money that is realized for pension in lost circumstances is just one that you will you're yo maintain yourself so it would rarely afford you a house.

Please depend on how much money he or she is collecting for pension if the money is much he can be able to build an apartment with it

I have seen someone who build this kind of mistake thinking that his pension and gratuity is enough to build a house but reverse was the case.

There are a lot of things that may be as a factor that would influence the person's pension to be enough to build a house. For example, it depends on the company he's working and what his salary was.

If Tue salary stipend is very much reasonable indeed, and not peanuts, surely with better saving plans, the retired civil servant will come up with building a comfortable house.

Exactly, the amount of money being paid is what determines the possibility it is to be enough to build a house in the end. When you get paid a decent amount of money, you can easily build a house.

I think a pension salary should be enough because how can you work for 35 years for the government and not be able to afford a car or talk less of building a house, it's on called for..I think the governments of that nation should be questioned.

In the countries I know, an average retirement reward isn't enough even to build (or buy) a 1 bed room apartment. A friend of my husband received his reward and what he could buy was an used car. Ok, his reward was a foretaste, because he is still a young man, but as he only could buy an used car, this means he could have bought a new car if he'd have the possibility to wait until pension age (he couldn't because he lost his job cause the factory' crisis). But I think a well paid prestigious job is able to generate a good retirement reward, enough to buy at least a 1 bed room apartment (in the countries I know, on sale apartments aren't furnished, only on rent apartment can be furnished).
