Buying a property|What questions should I ask about a property before buying?

I think before buying a strip, look at its ownership. Then check the property documents from the owner. Investigate the property and see where it is located and how much it can benefit you. Property is a great asset that can be of great use to you in the future. And after buying the property, transfer the ownership in your name

ASK THE SELLER THE FOLLOWING QUESTION
CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
TAX PAID ON THE BUILDING FOR 5 YEARS
POLICE REPORT
TRY AND CONTACT FAMILY MEMBER OF THE SELLER TO ASCERTAIN IF THEY SUPPORT THE SELLER
ASK ABOUT THE HISTORY OF THE HOUSE
AS MURDER BEEN COMMITTED IN THE HOUSE
CHECK IF THE HOUSE WILL BRING YOU GOOD FORTUNE OR BAD OMEN

First, ask your seller how he or she got his land, so many sellers are scammers who wants to sell the land that belongs to another person perhaps the fellow may be out of the country. Secondly, ask people around about the land.

It depends on the type of property you want to buy if buying one of the things you need to now is the owner of the property how quality it is . If it is like land you need to know the size of the land. And all the necessary documents of the property . Make sure you are aware of how good the property eit

You need to make sure the price of he property tallies with your capital. I also think that you should compare the price of the property with other properties around the area to avoid overpaying.

Before acquiring any property is is important to ensure all the necessary and unnecessary documents are intact. It is not advisable to go for a property that doeenot have the best primary imfore on the best. Every field has its own specialist

Before making plans on buying a property, and you want to be actually sure that is the one, just have it at the back of your mind that it involves a lot of research. Let's take for instance, it's a house you are buying, you must make sure it's not in a good or prone to natural disasters area. Another thing you should no is that, what are content of what you are buying?

They're lots of considerations one should look out for in purchasing a property, first of all knowing the history of the property isn't a bad idea, know the legal conditions of the property(whether or not the property is under legal case),so you don't fall into scam.

Your points are well stated and clear when it comes to 'questions one needs to ask when buying a property. We shouldn't feel overwhelmed or fearful to ask the seller or those living around the premises, the primary questions that needs urgent responds.

I guess you've said it all but wanted to cheap in some questions to ask as well. Like you should ask for the c of o of the land property you are buying to be sure of the rightful owner of the property, and lastly you go for inspection of the property to be sure of what you are really buying tho.
In recent times, property deals have gone sour just because the buyer couldn't ask their self, the agent in charge and or escrow some simple questions like how much is the tax and utility bills, what's the duration of the property in the market,is the property prone to flood and or other natural disasters,etc... And even setting a budget for themselves. Most of the time all these unasked findings, later hunt the property buyers.

What other questions and or findings do you think must be known or asked before securing a property?

It is a good idea to buy a property. But before that you want to take care of a few things. One is that if you are buying a house then you have to know from the houses nearby and also from the real estate agent how old the building is. What are its strengths and weaknesses? And if you are buying land, then look at what facilities he has.

It is very important to ask about the location you are getting the property, the environment and flood or drain in rainy season, if possible houses should be contracted in rainy seasons so one can easily gain facts then mere sayings.

One has to be sure that the person who claims to be the owner of the said property and who's selling it to you is the real owner. You can't afford to waste your money and still go to jail. This is very crucial, one should be careful.

You need to be sure the documentations are not fake but original because if its fake it might leads to jail or punishment when it was later known its fake....

In your publication you express something that is important, ask around the house the prices of other houses and thus verify that you are not paying overprice. In my country you hire a surveyor and a topographer, this way you get the correct price and with the help of the neighbors you can make the decision.

There are many question you should ask before buying a property, first you need to know why the owner chooses to sell the property, this is the most important question to ask

When buying a property the main question you're supposed to ask is the purpos why the owner wishes to sell the property and also, you need to know the legit owner of the property

The first thing people ask when they want to get a property is to know how much is the property, another thing they do is to know the location of the property.

The most important question is why are you leasing the house, is there any warranty gratuity attached, how long or how durable is the structure of the house.

You should ask the appropriate questions as much as you can. Is the property you're intending to buy a haunted property. Are the documents legal?

Before buying a property the first question you need to ask is why the owner intended to sell the property, and also make little investigation so you can know more about the property
