I am a physics student and I want to venture into the programming world.i have heard from many that programming is no childs play but I want to give it a shot.which programming language is best to learn as a beginner.something that is in demand and I can use to solve problems.

Latest answer, Matlab and Mathematical are useful for quicker critical thinking. Python, C++ are very much utilized dialects these days. However, Fortran and other old dialects actually have their own significance.

Python (named after Monty Python's Flying Circus, not the Burmese snake) is a general programming language that is finding wide acknowledgment in cosmology, physical science, designing, and software engineering.

I can recommend PHP and HTML because many organization want their company to be known world wide. And by learning PHP and HTML you will be able to develop different websites and web app for different organisation, you will be tge solution to there problems and you will surely make a lot of money. But you need to focus and put a lot of dedication.

As a physic student, there are lots of programming available that you can learn, depending on your interest anyways, we have Python, Java, you can also learn Artificial intelligence and Neural Networks technology band and machine learning

It is depend on your interest in programming because there are many software which can you learn and get knowledge about programming you can learn from c++ HTML JAVA and other software

Python, C++ are well used languages nowadays. But Fortran and other old languages still have their own importance.
However as a physicist you should learn the most
widely used, general-purpose, interpreted, dynamic programming language which is known as python.
Although in the industry today
Fortran is rarely used, but that doesn't mean you should miss out on learning it, forget the fact that it's rarely used Fortran still remain a dominant language for the large scale simulation of physical systems.

If you want to start as web developer than HTML and CSS is most important language for you to start and most easy to learn as it doesn't need any experience to learning and most of websites created using these two.

You can still learn a particular programming language to that also help your course as a physics student. Programming language like artificial intelligence

i have seen many physics people using python for such as purposes, i would recommend you go for it as it's sort of easier for the things it can really do

I think python should be one of the best language to learn. The use of python is numerous. It can be use to create Android application and perform several engineering calculation

If I were you I will go for python or CC plus because they are the best crypto language that is easier to learn as a newbie and if you still have more interest to go further you can attempt the most complicated one.

I would recommend Python c++ programming language for you as a beginner because this is the easiest programming language that anyone can use to start programming with and as a physics student programming will be quite simple for you using this programming language.

Even as a physicist, you should be aware of what you want to build or what you want to achieve. If its web development then JavaScript. If it is aoo development then kotlin or swift.

Well I can tell you that, I should have taken a course in hardware systems. I was told that, in that circumstance, the fundamental language is C or maybe C ++ (I'm sorry but now I don't remember exactly).
I repeat: I tell you what I have been told, but the course, I have not done it.

Have you heard about C++ this was actually what I least from school.. but after i graduated I discovered the programming thing as advanced to python.

C++ is one of the programming languages you can learn as a physics student. these also involve some critical calculations and they should not be new to you if you are a sound physic student.

Python as has been stated here is currently one of the world's leading programming languages because of its multi use. I also think you should learn Java too.
My brother is currently working at a high paying job because of his expertise in python language

As long you are a student i think it will be more easier for you to learn programming... Have heard of people starting with python. But now what programmers use is wordpress.

We have old programming language and new programming language. So for me I think the best thing is to go for new programming language like Python and java
