Recent Update News

As some of you may have noticed, there are a few things that changed, that may or may not be noticeable immediately. This announcement compiles the changes so you can take note.

Item 1: Emails
Some of you were setup to receive notification emails upon replies made to topics you are watching. As of this moment, we now have a addon that controls these emails being sent out. In order to continue to receive further emails from us, regarding replies to watched threads, and emails about most of the standard stuff, you need to head over to the Account Preferences Page, and adjust the settings in your preferences, to allow the options that the following image has the red arrows pointed to.

Item 2: Updated Account Upgrades Page
I know for sure that most of us wouldn't notice the change on this page, unless we were individually wanting to actually upgrade our accounts.

This update, focuses mainly on the fact that we no longer have the big bulky description boxes for each Account Upgrade. The page now links to our information topic on what you get with the account upgrade, except for the company upgrade option, which still lists what the company or individual will get, if they pay for a company membership. And the Company option has been updated to be the total price for each individual item that comes with it, for a single month purchase.

With the update to the page, it looks like the following: (image is clickable (tapable) for those who want to see the full image clearly)

Above, you will notice 3 items. The first item, is the "Choose Duration" drop down menu. This allows you to pick from the lengths you want to purchase an upgrade. The lengths available, are 1 Month, 3 Months, 6 Months, 9 Months, 1 Year and Lifetime. Lifetime for the individual upgrade, currently costs 10 times the amount that the year price is listed. This option, essentially means that so long as we are in operation, your account will keep the upgrade no matter what.

The Second Drop Down Menu, the "Choose Payment Method" drop down, lists PayPal, Crypto Currencies (Coinbase Compatible), Your Credit/Debit Card option, and your USD Forum Balance as payment methods.

The USD Forum Balance, will draw from your own balance, so that when you purchase an upgrade, that amount will be deducted from your balance, here on Bizdustry.

The last part of the screenshot, is the Purchase Button, which will then prompt you for info, or redirect you for payment processing of the option you choose. The item after that, is the gift option. If you want someone on the forum to have a particular upgrade, you can pay for it, and it will be gifted to them the moment you pay!

What is not listed on there, is a minor feature. The minor feature, is the ability to extend your current Account Upgrade plan out, by purchasing an extension. This option will show up under your active account upgrades, 15 days before it expires. Essentially allowing you to pay in advance for the next month or so.

Item 3: Mailing Lists
And last but not least, is the Mailing Lists!

You can find the current active mailing lists, on this page: https://bizdustry.com/dbtech-mail/

You can also find it, by clicking on the "Open Email" icon that has recently been added to the top bar, next to the search button.

This page, lists our current mail lists that we now are using. By default, all users who gain verified status after making 25 posts, will get listed in the "News and Update Emails - 25+ Post Mailing List", automatically once 25 posts have been made. You can unsubscribe from this email list at any time. This mail list, is for alerting members who are part of our dedicated userbase, of any changes, features, or other items that we want to send information out to, at any given time. So feel free to unsubscribe from this, if you don't want emails on focused offers we are giving to our general active userbase.

The other two listed mailing lists on there, are pretty self explanatory. The Marketplace mailing list, is for those who want to receive offers from anyone who has the Marketplace Access Upgrade, or VIP Upgrade. It is expected that those who send out emails from this listing, link to a specific thread in the marketplace of which the offer is listed under. Anyone who purchases the upgrade to send out spam using this function, will have their upgrade removed, and not refunded.

The Special VIP Offers Mailing List, is the mailing list that we use to send out special offers we want to notify you of, if it is special, and not a normal offer we generally make. It could be emails advertising a discount of our Account Upgrades, or other such items that may happen a couple times a year. This can be subscribed to, if you are interested in it.

Thank you for your continued support! We hope you will continue to use this forum, and spread the word to others who want the opportunity to learn and earn!

Don't forget that the whole reason why we have a "Marketplace Access" Upgrade, is to allow you to make service threads, allowing you to earn even more money, by completing offers for people!

Have a good and sunny day!
